About Us

IReV.Space is an independent and unofficial Nigerian election-results transparency platform built to give citizens timely, accessible and verifiable visibility into election results as they emerge from polling units across Nigeria.

Our mission is simple: to ensure that Nigerians do not have to wait until the final announcement before they can see how votes are being counted and how election results are developing across the country.

On election day, IReV.Space is designed to serve as a digital voice of the masses — creating a transparent channel through which election results submitted from polling units can be seen, processed and analysed in near real time.

Results As They Come In

At IReV.Space, we believe election transparency should not begin only when the final result is announced. It should begin at the polling unit.

Our platform is designed to receive election-result documents uploaded by authorised political-party agents and other participating election observers from polling units across Nigeria.

As results begin arriving, IReV.Space uses artificial intelligence and automated document-processing technology to:

  • Read election-result documents automatically.
  • Extract the figures recorded on the result sheets.
  • Identify the polling unit, ward, local government and other relevant information.
  • Compute votes automatically.
  • Aggregate results as they are received.
  • Display emerging results in near real time.
  • Provide citizens with a continuously updating picture of the election.

This means that Nigerians can follow the emerging electoral picture while results are still being collected and collated — seeing which candidates and parties are gaining ground and where the contest is changing as more polling-unit results become available.

Powered by Polling-Unit Results

Our vision is to establish a broad network of political-party agents and election observers across polling units in Nigeria.

As the official result is completed and made available at a polling unit, participating agents can upload the result to IReV.Space. The platform then processes the document and incorporates the figures into its live aggregation system.

The more polling-unit results that are independently submitted, the clearer the national picture becomes.

IReV.Space is therefore designed around a simple principle:

Start at the polling unit. Verify the evidence. Process the numbers. Let Nigerians see the results.

Artificial Intelligence at the Heart of the Platform

IReV.Space combines election-result technology with artificial intelligence to reduce the amount of manual data entry involved in processing thousands of result sheets.

Instead of relying entirely on humans to read and enter figures from uploaded documents, our system is designed to automatically analyse submitted result sheets, extract the relevant figures and use them to calculate running totals.

This allows large volumes of results to be processed much faster while creating a structured digital record that can be reviewed and independently scrutinised.

Security and Result Authentication

Election results require a high level of protection against manipulation, duplication and the submission of unrelated documents.

For this reason, IReV.Space is being designed with multiple security and validation mechanisms intended to ensure that the platform accepts only legitimate INEC election-result documents that meet the system's validation requirements.

Uploaded documents can be subjected to automated checks designed to examine their structure, content and identifying characteristics before they are admitted into the results-processing pipeline.

Our objective is to make it extremely difficult for someone to introduce fabricated, altered or irrelevant documents into the system.

Where the system cannot confidently validate a submitted result, it should be flagged for further review rather than blindly incorporated into the live results.

Independent — Not INEC

IReV.Space is not INEC, is not operated by INEC, and is not an official INEC election-results portal.

It is an independent, unofficial civic technology initiative created to promote election transparency and give Nigerians another way to observe the development of election results.

Our platform does not seek to replace INEC's constitutional responsibility to conduct elections and declare official results.

Instead, IReV.Space seeks to provide an independent, evidence-based view of results submitted from polling units so that citizens, journalists, civil-society organisations, political stakeholders and other interested parties can monitor the electoral process more transparently.

Before the Final Declaration

One of the most important purposes of IReV.Space is to make the developing result visible before the final national declaration.

As polling-unit results are uploaded and verified, the platform can continuously aggregate the available figures.

This means that, depending on the volume and geographic coverage of submitted results, Nigerians may be able to see:

Who is leading. Who is gaining ground. Who is losing ground. Where the votes are coming from. How many polling units have reported. How the national picture is changing.

The figures displayed on IReV.Space will represent results received and processed by the platform, not a declaration of the final official election result.

Transparency Through Evidence

We believe that trust in elections is strengthened when citizens can see the evidence behind the numbers.

Every result should have a traceable origin. Every figure should be connected to a polling-unit result sheet. Every aggregation should be reproducible from the underlying data.

Our long-term objective is therefore to build a system where citizens and independent stakeholders can move from:

Result Sheet → Polling Unit → Ward → LGA → State → National Aggregation

with the underlying evidence available for scrutiny.

Our Vision

IReV.Space envisions an Nigeria where election results are not hidden from the public until the end of the process.

We envision an election day where Nigerians can open a trusted independent platform and watch the democratic process unfold in real time.

Where results are coming in, citizens should be able to see them.

Where figures are being aggregated, citizens should be able to follow them.

Where questions arise, the underlying result sheets should provide evidence for independent scrutiny.

And where misinformation appears, verifiable election-result data should provide Nigerians with facts.

IReV.Space is built for transparency. Built for accountability. Built for the polling unit. Built for the Nigerian people.
